Conversation Features

Gamosy conversations include the features you'd expect from a modern messaging experience.

Real-Time Messages

Messages appear instantly for both participants. There's no need to refresh the page — new messages stream in as they're sent.

Typing Indicators

When the other participant is composing a message, you'll see a "X is typing..." indicator below the conversation. This disappears once they send the message or stop typing.

Read Receipts

Blue checkmarks appear next to your sent messages once the recipient has read them. This lets you know your message has been seen without needing to ask for confirmation.

Editing Messages

You can edit any message you've sent within a 15-minute window after sending.

1. Hover over your message
2. Click the edit icon
3. Modify the text
4. Click Save

Edited messages display an "(edited)" label so the other participant knows the message was changed. After 15 minutes, editing is no longer available.

Deleting Messages

You can delete any message you've sent at any time.

1. Hover over your message
2. Click the delete icon
3. Confirm the deletion

Deleted messages are replaced with a "This message was deleted" placeholder. The message content is removed, but the conversation flow is preserved.

Message Composer

The composer sits at the bottom of each conversation:

• Enter sends the message
• Shift + Enter inserts a new line
• Messages can be up to 10,000 characters long
• The character count appears as you approach the limit
